a peek into my future. who says a crazy cat lady can’t be adorable too?

i remember when i used to dislike mushrooms. not only did i find their flavor appalling, but the appearance and texture were completely off-putting. perhaps it was the variety or maybe the preparation, because now i am head over heels for them. mushrooms are one of my most craved foods now that i’ve grown to like them, and they find themselves in almost everything i make for myself.

we installed these at the gallery today and they look so lovely. i want to make one so badly!

now that is my idea of a picnic. wine and seclusion.

Bart Hess’ photographs of the human form and slime are stunning. I prefer, though, the images where the figure is more obscured by the slime or the slime seems like a part of the figure. I think there’s a little more mystery in them.

i wish i could say that i was good at geometry so that i would be able to honestly say that i loved it. at least i can say that i love geometry in art.
